New project announcement
A few years ago, when we got the initial idea for an elaborate aerial warfare game, we immediately started thinking about a whole series of games that would include different time periods and as many different aircraft types as possible. Historically, we wanted to start from the beginning, so it was logical to situate the first game of the series in the context of WWI. However, the period that sparks the most interest in gamers is the period of WWII, which is the most appropriate setting for the second game of the series. Since the production of AoD: WWI is going according to plan, we are using the holidays to announce the Age of Dogfights: WWII project.

The Important Aircraft Supplement is ready!
After the assembling of the main game, the first Age of Dogfights expansion has reached completion a few days ago, so we started shipping Kickstarter orders that contain it as a reward. The backers who pledged it will have at their disposal 18 new aircraft types which will provide additional historical flavor to the game and offer them numerous new possibilities on the battlefield.

The shipping has started!
As we hoped, all the game elements have been delivered to us before the end of the year. We immediately put our hands to work and managed to assemble a small batch and ship it before New Year’s Eve. Because of the holidays, the shipping will continue shipping after Orthodox Christmas, so the majority of the packages will be delivered before the end of January. During January, the PnP files will also be available for download.

All the AoD:WWI boxes have arrived!
The production of AoD:WWI for the Kickstarter backers is going full speed ahead! After the boards were finished, we have now received all the boxes, along with many other elements: control panels, boxes, stickers, stands, tokens, etc. At this pace, with all the improvements in the production cycle, we still hope to start shipping ahead of schedule, despite the fact that some of our associates have their production capacities reduced due to pandemics. The few remaining elements that are still in production are nearing completion.

A hydraulic cutter machine
As you already know, during the summer we purchased a workshop in order to handle the production of AoD: WWI games, as well as the increased demand in general. One of the main reasons we needed a workshop on the ground floor of this craft center is the acquisition of a hydraulic cutting machine that we will use in the production of cardboard and plastic elements for all our games. Now that we got it, it shortens the production chain, which will improve the logistics and increase the production speed in the long run.

All the cubes have been delivered to us!
The company "Savić rent & plast" once again surprised us with its professionalism. They finished all 270,000 + 20,000 ordered cubes in record time, once again! For the purposes of the game Age of Dogfights: WW1, these cubes are dark gray (270,000), and in addition we have ordered another 20,000 in 9 colors for sale through our site.

The molding tool for plastic cubes
During the Kickstarter campaign for the game Age of Dogfights: WW1, one of the stretch goals was the replacement of cardboard rectangles with wooden cubes. These cubes play the role of sliders on the control panels. However, such wooden cubes cannot be purchased in Serbia, so our plan was to import them from China, but during negotiations with several potential partners, we could not agree on acceptable prices, modes of transport nor deadlines. That is why we decided to produce such cubes in Serbia from high-quality plastic. We again entrusted the production of tools to the company "Savić rent & plast" from Užice. This tool was also completed in record time and we have already received trial castings.

All the 514.000 plastic stands have arrived!
The company "Savić rent & plast" delivered 500,000 plastic stands we ordered for the needs of the game Age of Dogfights: WW1 and its expansions in record time. These stands are transparent, black, and white. In addition, we ordered 2000 pieces each in 7 more colors for sale through our website.

New box formats
Although we have tools for a dozen different cardboard boxes, we decided to adopt two more dimensions for the Age of Dogfights game expansions: 24 x 17 x 4 cm and 24 x 10 x 3 cm. In addition, for the needs of the upcoming production of one game for the Serbian market, we also made a box of 28 x 28 x 6.5 cm.

A molding tool for plastic stands
We promised that the stands used in Age of Dogfights: WW1 would be made of transparent plastic, and the aircraft tokens would be white and black. We hired the company "Savić rent & plast" from Užice (a city about 190 km from Belgrade). We expected to receive trial castings within 45 to 60 days, but everything was done in just 25 days!

Tank pieces tool rework
Plastic tank pieces made for the game Tank Chess are also intended for premium variants of the games Panzer Strike 1 and 2. The two tools were, with many problems and several delays, completed in June and December 2018. During the exploitation, the tools were often returned for refinements. For the needs of the Panzer Strike 1 and 2 games, two more pieces had to be inserted into the tool: an anti aircraft tank and a truck. That alteration took an unjustifiably long time, so we only recently got the requested series of pieces.

The production of Age of Dogfights: WW1 has started!
After the end of the preorder period on BackerKit, we started preparations for the serial production of the game Age of Dogfights: WW1. The main cardboard elements (boxes and boards) will be produced by the printing house Inprint from Čačak. We are very pleased with the quality of these elements produced for the Tank Chess game, so we continue our collaboration. We will produce most of the other elements in our own workshop. We procured some new machines in time, we also have a third workshop, so we believe that the production will go according to plan. We received blank white dice, we ordered cardboard for expansion boxes, we are expecting the plastic boards for markers to arrive, etc.

Shipping of Here be Dragons to Sweden
After the holidays, we immediately produced a mini series of 10 copies of the game Here be Dragons. The order was sent via Post Express and after about ten days they arrived at their destination. The customers are very satisfied with the quality of the received sets and announce the continuation of cooperation in future projects. We wish the authors of the game a lot of success in the upcoming Kickstarter campaign (autumn 2020)

The BackerKit campaign for AoD:WW1 ends
The main part of the campaign on BackerKit is over. There are dozens of backers that did not respond to the survey, and they will have the opportunity to do so in the coming period.
The overall success of this project is fantastic - over $ 118,000 collected! Over $ 60,000 was raised on BackerKit, which is more than during the main Kickstarter campaign! We thank the backers (over 920) who provided us with so much support. The success is all the greater because we have not invested any funds in project advertising. Once again, it has been shown that a quality product always finds its way to customers.

Our new workshop!
The great success of our Age of Dogfights: WW1 project on Kickstarter allowed us to purchase an office space to use as a third workshop. In the same craft and business complex, we already rent three shops (two workshops and one warehouse). Now, in a total of 4 shops, we have much better working conditions and thus we have significantly increased our production capacity.
We will publish more photos from the new store when we fully equip it with new machines.

An article about Tank Chess in Second Chance Games
Mr. Robert Peterson, who wrote a great article for the game Age of Dogfights: WW1 in June, also wrote a review for the game Tank Chess. Like many so far, Peterson, as he says himself, was very skeptical about this game, but after learning the rules, he changed his mind.
In the following paragraph, there is a quote from his text, which you can read in its entirety at the link below:
"Thank you Forsage Games for letting me review Tank Chess. To put it mildly, I was very skeptical of the game at the beginning. I was happily proved wrong by the game play."

The production of realistic tank miniatures in Voxellab continues
Due to the Covid-19 epidemic, along with some other factors, the production of tank miniatures was interrupted for a while. At the end of July, the production was restarted and soon after, we received a batch of previously ordered miniatures.
